Lush sensuality and romance interwoven with conflict,
This review is from: A Tale of Two Djinns (Kindle Edition)
I was given this book freely by the author in exchange for an honest review and what can I say.....I wish it had been longer Mina!!
The book got me right from the opening chapter and I read it in one go. Mina has clearly worked hard to pack as much description as possible into story of Maya(Water Djinn) and Akshay(Earth Djinn), giving the reader a vivid picture of the lush sensuality of the Djinn world and the characters.
The characters are very likeable and capture each others imagination from the start..;Their paths cross initially when the Earth Djinns and Water Djinns are in conflict with each other and the reader gets an indication of the Djinn true form (not giving anything away) their story interweaves and they develop true feelings for each other, though there are truths that need to be told. The love scenes are very hot and the author has clearly thought through the romance element here, I say this because although they get hot and heavy reasonably quickly, it is still romantic and worshipful.
Definitely worth reading, an author I have added to my list to watch out for.
