Thumpingly big with secret pockets,
This review is from: Lowepro Transit 350 AW Backpack for DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras - Slate Grey (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Currently I own a DSLR and a restrained zoom lens. They just about fit in the fairly big Kata over the shoulder bag, but I regretted fairly instantly not getting a more comfortable rucksack design to stop pulling my back while lugging equipment around. The other half of course ended up with the free Kata rucksack of my dreams so I was delighted to see this one up for grabs.
Well its BIG! When you think- well has it actually got this feature.... you find it eventually.
Ok so quick release side pocket for camera and lens
Large all round zip pocket for access to all the other sections (all re-arrangeable)
On the side is a strap with a pull out anchor pocket to add on your tripod
Also there's a separate red lined pocket to fit your iPad.
And- because I was fretting about the lack of a rain hood which is an excellent feature of the Kata bag...suddenly I found a squishy bit in the front panel ...urr there's a rain hood hidden in a velcroed pocket at the bottom, which is attached with a little strap so you can't lose it by accident.
Essentially it's big....it seems to be well stitched...with lots of odd places.
Now whether or not it will totally satisfy your need to lug your particular kit around I know not... it looks as though it's capable of holding a fairly hefty telephoto with a bit of moving around of the internal velcro pads, but as I don't stretch to one of those elite grey Canon jobbies I know not. It'll do me fine!
