The true courage of Airmen brought home,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Nuremberg Raid: 30-31 March 1944 (Penguin History) (Paperback)
Martin Middlebrook has done it again. A very well presented and researched book from both sides perspective. It details the most costly raid by the RAF in planes lost in a particular raid and shows the courage that the crews had to go through night after night in helping the Allies to win the war. Especially poignant as the bombing policy by the Allies has been much maligned. I would seriously recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in the second world war.
