Tick Tock The Clocks Ticking For The Second Doctor,
This review is from: The Queen of Time (Doctor Who: The Lost Stories) (Audio CD)
Catherine Harvey's brilliant adaption of Brian Hayles Tv script does this adventure credit.
Shared Narration by Frazer Hines whom does a uncanny imitation of the late Patrick Troughton & Wendy Padbury as Zoe.
Brian Hayles wrote & created The Ice Warriors & wrote 4 classic Tv series adventures.
2CD 4 episode's Running Time 120 Minutes,Trailer,Music Behind The Scenes Interviews.
This 2nd of the final Lost Stories of 4 adventures is a Second Doctor, Jamie, Zoe adventure that was originally made for television & has been adapted to a audio format by Catherine Harvey whom has done a exellent adaption of this engaging adventure.
Somewhere out in the far reaches of the universe a immortal being is waiting, A God like entity is in a realm of ticking clocks.
This God like being is in the realms of outer space, As the clocks ticks & the seconds tick slowly away to zero this entity is scheming & plotting a grand plan a trap is being set for a certain time traveller a traveller whom wanders the universe in a Blue Police Box the Timelord known as the Doctor!
Can this Godlike Entity Hecuba be the Doctor's final conundrum in a realm of time as Hecuba has all the time in the universe but for the Doctor's his time maybe up.
This is a truly great audio adventure by Catherine Harvey whom adapted the material from Brian Hayles scripts.
Catherine's ability to write the characteristics of the second Doctor, Jamie & Zoe is a huge plus for this adventure as Catherine captures the mood of classic series 6 to perfection & the character of Hecuba is very disturbing & sinister that has ties to the Doctor's past.
There is also a great mystery to this adventure that suits the Lost Stories format & is a great foil for the second Doctor.
Frazer Hines & Wendy Padbury share the narration here with Frazer Hines capturing the likeness of Pat Troughtons Doctor's mannerisms to perfection.
This is a most entertaining adventure so sit back & relax switch the lights off & share with The Doctor in this exellent audio adventure.

I'm thinking of buying this one too. I like to hear more of the Second Doctor with Jamie and Zoe.
I enjoyed your reviews on 'Lord of the Red Planet' and 'The Queen of Time' very much.
Well done. Tim.
