Fantastic Hard Drive,
This review is from: Freecom 500GB External Hard Drive USB-2 (Silver) (Personal Computers)The response time is great, fast transfer times.
For an estimation, I transferred around 5.5gb to the hard drive (formatted to NTFS using "Quick Format") in aroung 5-6 minutes. Make sure you format this drive to NTFS as soon as you get it.
The enclosure is sturdy aluminium, and feels VERY well made. It is very cool to touch, and with moderate usage, gets mildly warm. It is super quiet. Barely audible even when listening to music.
This is a lot better than a WD Mybook, which is plastic covered and offers a less effective passive cooling. Aluminium acts as an excellent heat dissipater.
The real bonus is portability. The power brick is extremely small. Plus, included is a UK plug and a worldwide plug, so it can be used anywhere.
When I run out of space on this drive, the only drive I will be looking at are going to be Freecom. One purchase I won't regret.

Bit harsh that, calling him a lier - give the man a break. Looks like a simple enough mistake.

The reviewer gives their honest opinion, I can't see that they are complicit in any lie. By the way, if you want to be accurate, there is no apostrophe in 'its' when used in this sense and it should have had a capital letter as the first word in a sentence.

Call me pedantic, but isn't weight (force of gravity) measured in Newtons?
Well, you started it!
