I want the DVD, too!!,
This review is from: The Flight Of Dragons [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I've been watching this film on a severely aged VHS tape since I was about five years old. It started my obsession with dragons which has now reached the level that I'm writing a Fantasy trilogy of my own.
The story is a triumph of the classic Fantasy genre, the characters are sterotypes but you can't help loving them for every second of it. The animation's great, as long as your copy isn't as badly damaged by love and time as mine is, particularly baby Gorebash (who may be the cutest thing on four legs I've ever seen, to this day - see my screen saver).
This animation is WELL-WORTH watching. The book from which the idea stems is also brilliant, as are all Peter Dickinson's books - particularly the Ropemaker and Angel Isle.
Now, Amazon, WHERE IS MY DVD VERSION?
