This review is from: Learning the Tarot: A Tarot Book for Beginners (Paperback)
I have been reading tarot cards for several years but like most readers I have a few blind spots: that is, cards that I have trouble understanding. Ms. Bunning has cleared all of these up for me. I have been enjoying her course online for almost a year and I think the book is wonderful. If you check out her website it will be apparent to you that she wrote this book not for the money, but out of love for the Tarot. Highly recommended!

Just like the reviewer, I have blind spots too! For instance in a recent reading I got the 2 of my wands as my "quest". Quite frankly it didn't seem much of one to me. However, thinking there was more to it than I had seen, I looked up 2 of wands in "Learning the Tarot" and found the key words "personal power", "boldness" and "originality". Examples were given of all these things. I can't begin to tell you how useful I found it and my "quest" became so much more personal and made lots of sense. It no longer seemed small and incidental but actually rather insightful and important. The card descriptions are very thorough and I did find this a little off putting when a complete novice. However, it is now an invaluable resource to give further depth to the cards. I don't think I have seen better for card descriptions.
