I purchased Office 2010 Professional, which included Access. It is brilliant - very easy to use with the new Ribbon interface. However, if you are moving to 2010 from 2003 or before, be warned. It is very different.

If you are going to buy other Office 2010 programs, go for the suites - it saves money. Though buying Office 2010 Home and Student and Outlook separately is cheaper than buying Office 2010 Home and Business, which just adds Outlook...

The price difference between Home and Student and Home and Business is because the Home and Student version is only licenced for personal use, not business. If you'll be using the software for any sort of commercial activity, you need the Home and Business version.
