nice little netbook,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Samsung NF210 10.1 inch netbook (Intel Atom N550 1.5GHz, 1GB, 250GB, WLAN, Webcam, Up to 10hrs battery life, Windows 7 Starter) - Titanium Silver (Electronics)It's a nice little netbook. No, it's not a laptop, no it doesn't do DVDs or CDs. It is small, but keyboard & mousepad are v usable. Small enough to perch on the arm of the chair, and watch streamed football while the kids have a video on. Happily runs Office 2007 (though prob not too many things open at once).
DO: buy the 2GB RAM upgrade - I've just got it and it transforms speed in nearly everything it does.
DO NOT: (as Amazon suggests) buy the DDR2 2GB chip which Amazon tells you "is often bought together...". It won't fit! You will need 2GB DDR3 memory chip. If you need to check go to Crucial - it'll even diagnose it for you online.
Overall - highly recommended

Thanks Dave - glad I read your review - just about to order the 2GB memory so have ordered the DDR3 as you advise. Is it easy to fit?? by a non techno I should add! It is such a nice bit of kit that I am disappointed that I find it so infuriatingly slow. Thanks.

Man of Kent says:
Not difficult to fit - but need to be firm, but careful. there are diagrams on the netbook manual i seem to remember

Thanks Dave - sounds a bit scary. Dont recall seeing a manual - only a Quick Start Guide plus pages of guarantee and dealers in every conceivable language...... Not looking forward to tackling that then!!

Man of Kent says:
don't worry. the manual should be on your Samsung somewhere.
And - it's not difficult - there's even a youtube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL5k2VXir7
