A good starting point for travel in 2011,

I sent for this book because I am about ready to start travelling again after a period of more than 10 years without setting foot outside the UK. This little book is an excellant place to start planning from. It outlines in the beginning section the most enticing places to go next year with the helpful information of what times are best. End of March to beginning of April for Japan, for instance (its the time of the famous cherry blossom season). There are later sections explaining more things in depth and more locations, not enough that you have it all here, granted. But then this book is really meant as an introduction; if you wanted to know more about a particular destination, you would have to read further. The only thing I would add is that if you have travelled frequently in the last few years, you might presumably know a lot of this information anyway? For someone like myself though, its ideal.
