The definitive book on horsemanship,
This review is from: True Horsemanship Through Feel (Paperback)
Written largely as a direct transcription of Bill Dorrance's words, this is the best book on horsemanship I have ever read. It isn't easy to read until you get accustomed to the voice, but once you do the detail and understated humour of Bill's explanations makes it a real pleasure.
Bill was the only one of the legendary Dorrance brothers to write his own book and this consequently is more structured and easier to follow than Tom Dorrance's "True Unity" and although I got a lot from both, this is the one I have come back to time and again and that has more to offer every time I re-read it.
There isn't really more to say- if you are interested in horsemanship at all, you need to have read this book.
