Better buy a mac!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lenovo IdeaPad U410 14-inch Touchscreen Laptop (Graphite) - (Intel Core i7 3537U 2.0GHz Processor, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, 24GB SSD, LAN, WLAN, BT, Webcam, Nvidia Graphics, Windows 8) (Personal Computers)
Okay, so here is the deal. I have been a windows fan all my life, until I used a mac (I have a macbook air too). So this may be a biased review.
740 pounds and this laptop? Is this worth it. Yes and no. The laptop is great. Here are the good and the bad
Design: 3/5 could have been better
Screen: 3/5 pretty s*** screen for 740 pounds. Lenovo you suck!
Key pad: 4/5 not as good as a mac, but better than most. No backlighting though which is a major issue.
Touchpad: 5/5 works well, large in size
Touch screen: works well, but is a gimmic than. I read many review saying touch makes a difference and bought this. But I rarely use the touchscreen.
Battery: 4/5 is a good 4-5 hrs
Lenovo bloatware: 1/5 harly useful
Windows 8 vs 7: what s***, its the same under the hood!
Now most problem for me is with windows than the laptop itself. Another 200 pounds and u'd get a macbook air.
For me (I do a lt of movie editing), windows core i7, 8 gb ram = macbook core i5, 4 gb ram in terms of functionality and thats ue to ssd on mac.
So, invest a bit more, and buy the mac
