Fine *IF* it doesn't cause Windows to fail,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Bitdefender Internet Security (2014): 3 User - 1 Year (PC) (CD-ROM)
I had used BitDefender 2013, so by default I looked at the 2014 product when I had to renew my Internet security suite. At the time (November last year) Amazon were selling BD2014 for a cracking price of £16, so I bought it. When my BD2013 subscription ran out I installed the 30-day trial of BD2014 from the BD website, intending to install the retail version when the trial was up (a bit of a cheat, but this way you can get 13 months Internet Security for the price of 12).
Unfortunately I then started getting BSOD failures (Windows 7 64-bit) , which referenced the file "BDFNDISF6.SYS". An online search revealed that this was a known problem and BD had supposedly released an update that would cure the problem. Unfortunately it didn't and the errors continued.
At this point I checked my order and discovered that I could still return BD2014, so I did. Amazon's customer service was - as always - excellent. I had one problem that was fixed after a couple of emails.
I'm now using a 30-day trial of Norton 2014, and I've had no BSOD errors. When the trial has finished I'll install a 30-day trial of Kaspersky. When I've compared the two I'll decide which one to buy from Amazon.
The 2013 version of BD was OK. It worked well, didn't hog memory and did everything I wanted in an Internet Security suite. I would have happily used the 2014 product IF it didn't cause Windows to fail. If it works for you fine; but I suggest that you return it the first time you get a BSOD failure.
