A short bedtime read often led to turing the light off late.,

This review is from: Alias Grace (Paperback)
I enjoyed the mixture of styles that Atwood used, including poetry, extracts from diaries and extracts from local newspapers. It is the type of book that I could pick up and put down without feeling that I had lost the plot. The imagery that Atwood used very clear and beautiful and at times moving. I found this quite different from other Atwood books, and much easier to read. I enjoyed Alias Grace as a light read before bed, but found that I was often turning the light off much later than I had planned.
