4.0 out of 5 stars My first hand mixer!, 19 Sept. 2011
This review is from: Andrew James Powerful 300 Watt Hand Mixer With Chrome Beaters, Dough Hooks, 5 Speed With Turbo Button Includes Balloon Whisk (Kitchen & Home)
Since this is my first hand mixer I don't really have a lot of experience to compare it with others but what I did notice was after the second time I used it, one of the beaters got stuck inside. I later realised that this is not a problem as you only have to slightly turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise to get it out. No pulling!! It may damage the hand mixer.
Overall, I think I'm very satisfied with this product!

I used this hand mixer for the first time yesterday and have the same problem - one of the beaters will not come out. I was so pleased to read your comment and thought my problem would be solved however, with a gentle and slight turn both clockwise and anti-clockwise, it is well and truly stuck. I've emailed Andrew James and just waiting for a reply. The mixer whilst working was great, so just hope I can get this beater out otherwise I have made a very expensive cake:-)

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! Having read more reviews, it was suggested that the button should be pressed HARD so I tried again and hey presto - the beater shot out! I am so grateful for Amazon reviews!
