When I started reading this book I thought it was going to be very patronising and may have been aimed more at teenagers (rather than a twenty something), I stuck with it anyway...
I was pleasantly surprised at what I learnt from the book and thought it was laid out well (easy to follow).
I must admit the plan is quite hard to follow, particularly in the first couple of weeks and requires a lot of willpower. It may also be quite hard for busy people to follow (eg. exercising mid morning and before meals), fortunately this wasn't a problem for me as I work evenings and I didn't need to eat or exercise in the evening.
You can choose the intensity level of your plan and things involved in the plan include having a cold bath every morning, no snacking, having 3 meals a day but skipping breakfast (only a black coffee), half of your meals must be made up of protein, cut down on carbs (no more than 80g a day), blowing up balloons before bed, exercising mid morning and before meals. It may sound like a strange plan but it does actually work and I managed to lose 9 pounds in the first 3 weeks and a further 5 pounds in the next 2 weeks (so a stone in just over a month). I've been off the plan for about a month but have still been sticking to parts of it (it makes you think differently about food and such) and haven't put any of the weight back on, which happens with so many other diet plans.
I definitely recommend this book - you will learn so much, will think about food differently and will definitely lose weight if you put in the work.
