One for the completists - but still pretty good,

I resisted buying this when it first came out because of the amount of overlap with previous works, but eventually submitted to curiosity.
For those who know Delain - and I'll confess to being a fan, having watched them evolve since their stunning debut 'Lucidity' - this is a fairly decent collection of live tracks, covers and a few new ones for good measure. However, make sure you get the 2-disc version because to be honest the 'live' tracks need the visual oomph of the (MFVF-recorded) DVD - if you just listen to them on the CD, you may start drawing unfavourable comparisons with studio-based recordings.
One definite plus-point of this album - they supply the lyrics this time - annoyingly absent from 'We Are The Others'. ('WATO' is a great album, but they went a bit far with its arty booklet).
One for the fans who'll lap up everything and never complain about the flaws - I only deducted a star from top rating because of the obvious marketeering approach of putting out a 'filler' album to rake in more money while they carried on touring to flog 'WATO' at the same time.
