Wow -its just fabulous,

This is a must have book for Italian cooking. It really explains how and why so carefully. I feel like I really know what I am doing when I cook. The first recipe I tried was the Ciabatta loaf and I was so impressed. Just like the artisan bakeries - people actually thought I bought the loaf. It was beautiful and holey and delicious. I can't wait to cook more.
I also love the stories behind it - I feel like its a book I could take to bed and read, if it didnt make me so damn hungry. You will enjoy it - easily the best recipe book I've ever bought
