Trashy and not up to snuff,
This review is from: Hacks [DVD] (DVD)I would have expected better from Michael Kitchen than to appear in something which engages in kindergarten poopoo humour throughout. For shame. What a waste of money. For its quality, or lack thereof, I would have thought this show had been made in a country other than England.

Stephen Fox says:
The genre is British slapstick parody. It's a difficult type of humour to understand for most people who never went to British public (private) school. I suspect the film-makers were aiming at a specific market segment (the English old boys' club) rather than a general audience when they made this one. Sorry, old boy, you just didn't get it; next time maybe old chap, what oh?
