This review is from: Cradle of Rome 2 (Nintendo DS) (Video Game)
This game is the follow on from Cradle of Rome and I was concerned it would be just the same, but no, they have introduced Trophy Awards for achieving certain criteria, for instance, completing a level within one minute. You can go into the Trophy screen to see what is there, but it certainly makes you think what you are doing whilst playing the game. Also, once you have obtained enough goods to buy the buildings you can do a puzzle, like a jigsaw puzzle with sliding blocks. There are a few more different things blocking your way through too, like ice blocks which you have to make 3+ above them. Also there is a bonus tile, which, if you make 4 or more in a row, you can use this to break a tile or change its colour.

One thing I have noticed is that the special icons don't always stay full when you go to the next level, I used to like to store them up and use them all for a particularly tricky level, sometimes they are available but other times they aren't quite full for the next level, I haven't worked out yet why this happens. I am on level 58 and still only have attained 3 icons!

This is far superior to the 3+ game I was playing previously, Jewel Quest 4, Heritage, which has been unceremoniously thrown into the drawer in disgust and frustration (see my review on this)

To sum up, this is a game I do not want to put down as it has the right balance of difficulty, and not too hard as to put you off playing.

Glad you enjoyed the review, but I am sorry but I haven't clue whether this game would work in the USA, I would tend to think it would.
