For those who want a little adventure in their lives,
This review is from: 1000 Ultimate Adventures (Lonely Planet Travel Reference) (Paperback)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
First, this book is great even if you just want to dream about Adventures you could (or would never want) to have.
Second, there is something in here do-able for pretty much anyone. No money? Brighton. Have children? Trips for the whole family. Or incredibly wealthy? A whole section on spending the kids inheritance. More of an Armchair adventurer? There are sections on books and films.
Third, no-one is going to do all 1000. There is my challenge to any super adventurers!
There are adventures for: walkers, bikers (motor and cyclists), in boats, climbing, indoors and out, by train or by car and in all the world's continents.
So who would I recommend this book to? Anyone who ever dreams of adventure; whether to give you inspiration for your next big one, to tick off the ones you've already done, or to dream (and maybe turn those dreams into at least a small adventure).
The biggest adventure starts with a single step, but this book could help.
