a great little history of fitba in Scotland,
This review is from: The First 100 Years: Scottish Football League (Paperback)
An entertaining and enlightening history of the game in Scotland, and therefore the game of football itself. As basically the founding fathers of the organised game, Scotland had an enormous contribution to the game worldwide as we now know it. This terrific little book explains and discusses the history and organisation of the league every step of the way. There is also a really handy and interesting statistics section at the back of the book too.
Well worth picking up for any student of the history of football, with plenty of entertaining prose and anecdotes that keep it always breezy and interesting too.
