This book seemed just up my street, and the concept of the humour (funny, pointless emails being sent just to annoy people) is also exactly what I enjoy reading. For example, the Timewaster Letters was brilliant, and loved it from start to finish despite not all of it being funny.
Having never seen David Thorne's presence online, I was quite excited to get into this book, only to find it incredibly, incredibly boring. To be fair, the emails and responses are mostly funny, but the bits in between are absolutely terrible and are not of a humour that I recognise at all, or associate with the "concept". I'll not spoil it in terms of the types of things written, but in my opinion we have a few issues here.
* Emails to and from various people are few and far between. Lots of fill in between that is utterly pointless and quite frankly silly, such as what you would do if you owned a Monkey. Its just not funny whatsoever. I found myself for the first time just skipping through pages of rubbish in order to find the good content.
* There are images which have not ported across to the Kindle at all well. They are too small to read, and may contain quite important information about the "joke" ahead.
Sorry, this is a really poor book. Do not buy on the kindle!!! I stopped reading about half way through. If I could get my money back I would.
