Barely works after two weeks of trying,
This review is from: Trust Ultra Small Bluetooth 2.1 USB Adapter 10m BT-2400p (Accessory)
This gets two stars because at least it eventually worked (unlike Belkin's mini dongle).
I have spent two weeks back and forth with Trust's poor customer service (but at least it's not non-existent, unlike Belkin's). The Broadcom drivers that were supplied with this product DID NOT WORK. All they could do was tell me that it was tested with Windows 7 so it must be something wrong with my Windows 7 (which has never had bluetooth installed previously). This is not plug and play! In the end I purchased Bluesoleil drivers, an extra 27 dollars, and it's working with my Microsoft bluetooth keyboard, but it's incredibly laggy and the two feet from the keyboard to my PC shows up as "weak" signal with my bluetooth status. It's supposed to broadcast to 10m, but it barely manages 1.
Note to Trust: the problem is not my PC, it's the Broadcom drivers. If I can get this working with BlueSoleil, then it's a problem with the drivers. They actually suggested I buy a new PC to get it working! If this does not work with your PC, then you're on your own. Trust do not know anything about the drivers for the product and I still have no idea how to install the product without the expensive BlueSoleil. This has been a poor quality experience that has wasted considerable amounts of my time.
