It wouldn't download,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lonely Planet Japan (Travel Guide) (Kindle Edition)
I didn't mind too much that it wouldn't download to my device, but I was more annoyed that I couldn't get a refund. A waste of money which is not a fault of the book but a fault with Amazon.

I solved the problem. However it turns out that this reference books as kindle books is unusable. I have seen other travellers fingering their way through the paperback version and I'm hugely jealous. I can't put finger in between pages to instantly flick back to and searches take a lifetime. Even If I was to practice using digital bookmarks, the next kindle interface would wipe it out. My verdict is that reference books on kindle simply don't work as well as real books. Fiction, great. You turn a page and bang, linear enjoyment. It's not that I'm tech shy either, I'm a programmer and rely heavily on search functionality day to day, it just doesn't work with travel books, Sorry.
