Good enough to get you up off your duff and dancin' ~,
This review is from: All In Good Time (Audio CD)
Of all the albums by this group this one gets the most air time in our house, and also outside of it, as I even use some of the tracks on this album when teaching dance, especially 7: a song and a lively polka "The Girls Along the Road"; 9: a set of reels, with a playful introduction that works perfectly for dance; and 11: "Lynch's Barndances" ~ a kick to dance to, especially with my sweetheart. ;-) If you've an interest in this group I can't recommend everything they do, some of it is just too silly, too much arranging and processing for my liking, give me a banana over a banofee pie any day, but this one, yup! This I recommend, some lovely stuff by some very talented and able musicians. I just wish they'd stop *'n around with the music and just play as well and spirited as they can without the need for any of that interfering and distracting fru-fru... Bless 'em...
