A refreshing reading of literature and esoteric history,
This review is from: Shakespeare's Secret Booke: Deciphering Magical and Rosicrucian Codes (Paperback)
It's a relief to read Ovason for anyone who takes esoteric ideas seriously. Modern culture tends to dismiss any thinking that conflicts with its own atheistic prejudices. But the ancients were not fools, and neither were Shakespeare, the Rosicrucians and their ilk. Here, Ovason shows how numerous writers, including Shakespeare, 'encoded' their work with esoteric and spiritual truths, 'secrets' even, that should not be explicitly shared with the uninitiated.
It's a joy to read a writer with this sort of knowledge who also is literate and so hugely knowledgable.
