Peace at last,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: CPR 1200 Number Capacity Nuisance Call Blocker - Grey (Accessory)
Having been bombarded by continental cold calls over several weeks from the likes of Kevin, Barry, and Mary I was at my wits end. I upgraded my line to include caller ID and bought this little marvel.
Came in about 3 days, and fitted in a few seconds, it has brought peace and tranquility back to my world. As I have some experience working with telephone systems so I had no problems setting it up to block International,IP and withheld numbers. Some of the big UK companies can still get past it but I simply tell them I am going to block their number and press the little button on top of the unit, then put the phone down.
Only downside so far is if you have several phones and pick-up a call on an extension, the unit seems unable to let the call through if you try to pick it up on the main phone. This may be due to the power available (REN) on the phone line being at it's limit at our house, 3 phones this box and broadband. But this is something I can live with.

Thanks for the lovely review, alowe49. We do appreciate it and we're glad you're pleased with it.
I can safely tell you it wasn't me cold calling you hahaha. You are also spot on with the extensions.
Whenever people use multiple extension sockets like you've mentioned, the REN gets overloaded and
cause way too many problems which we can't deal with and usually some phones will ring but the call
won't be put through. DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephones) handsets with multiple handsets
connected to the base unit are best when people require multiple phones around the house. The call blocker
will protect ALL of them then.
