This review is from: Studio Lighting Solutions: Expert Professional Techniques for Artistic and Commerial Success (Pdnpros) (Paperback)I was rather disappointed with this book. I was hoping for a nice glossy book with fantastic pictures and a detailed run through of how those pictures were created and inspired. Instead the pictures were, in my opinion, mediocre and most of the text was about the photographer describing how they were chosen to do that particular shoot, with only a fairly brief commentary on how the shoot was achieved. This was also mostly very technical description (what make of light, reflector etc.) of the equipment used with relatively few practical hints or tips.
The copy I received looked like it had been sitting on a shelf for a good many years (and was returned for this reason).
It might be useful for professional photographers, or those who are into the industry jargon and technical aspect, but not much help if you want to learn how to take better photos.
