The Doctor series is a badly neglected gem. I honestly think it deserves to be remembered and celebrated with the same love and respect accorded to such other classics as Dad's Army, Rising Damp, Steptoe & Son etc. Great to have the LWT series on DVD - now what about the Aussie version, Doctor Down Under, and the 90s BBC sequel Doctor At The Top?
Edit: I can answer my own question: Doctor Down Under was once available from Australia on the Umbrella label. I recently found a brand new shrinkwrapped copy from the States for round about £21 - only slightly more than Network charged for their own 2 disc sets. Doctor At The Top can be found on Uk.rarities - also in Australia - but this is a DVD-R only.
