The Rabbit Trap,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Defender STV071 Rabbit Cage Trap (Garden & Outdoors)This is a well made product and good value, however apart from wasting a lot of food baiting the trap, alas no rabbits have been caught. In conclusion whilst it is well made and humane, it's not likely to get rid of those pesky rabbits.

Catching rabbits in these traps is never straight forward (having used some similar myself recently) as it can take time for the animals to 'adjust' to the cage before venturing in, also what's in the trap may be no more appealing than stuff they can readily obtain outside and for some reason rats and squirrel seem to be more focused on entering traps for food whereas rabbits just aren't.
Before I could get rabbits to enter I have ended up catching 2 hedgehogs (or the same one twice ...LOL) at least 4 or 5 birds, a polecat and a squirrel. Once these other critters stopped activating the trap I eventually got the handful of rabbits I was after.
This isn't a quick fix way of dealing with rabbits, for that you need a rifle or air rifle, but this style of trap can be successful over time.
