This review is from: Untouchables: Dirty cops, bent justice and racism in Scotland Yard (Bloomsbury Reader) (Kindle Edition)
The author makes several valid points about the state of the MPS and is a good counter view to the MPS authorised version "Bent Coppers". However, several of the chapters could, and should have been updated since the original. The chapter painting Commander Ali Dizaei as a martyr to "Orwellian" tactics seems somewhat incomplete.
The overall narrative would definitely have benefited from what Messrs Blair, Hayman, and Quick went onto do post 2005 and makes no mention at all of Leveson. This is a real pity as Gillard makes interesting connections to News International and Southern Investigations.
