Needs Background Info,
This review is from: A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Mass Market Paperback)
I've read all of the Outlander series so far but I have read them over a period of about 6 years and I can't always remember everything that happened in the last book. This is the case here - I read the Fiery Cross a couple of years ago, it was a very long book with much detail and Diana will insist on referring back to incidents and people who were in the last book but without giving us a quick recap on what their role was or the incident itself - this is driving me crazy as I've been flicking through Fiery Cross trying to find the incidents mentioned often without much success because it's such a big book.
I don't suppose she reads her reviews here but if she does - Diana, please help the readers out a bit and don't be so arrogant to assume we all read the books one after the other; we do read other books too.
Apart from that, it's a good book - I only give it 3 stars though, I knocked off one for the lack of reminders and one for the fact that Jamie and Claire have got to be in their 50s now and barely a grey hair or an aching joint between them...........sorry, but much as I like the characters, that to me is even more far fetched than the whole time travel scenario!
