Book Club Thinks...,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Perks of Being a Wallflower (Kindle Edition)
We read this for book club, we had mixed opinions across the board. Most felt like this book lacked compassion and soul and there was too much focus on making memorable quotes and reminiscing about music and songs. One member loved the way it was written, and she enjoyed the idea that as series of letters expressing a memory of a day or experience, represented only by Charlie's mind and wishes, what you are reading could be several times removed from the reality of the situation.
