This review is from: Acer Aspire One A150-Bb Netbook, Windows XP Home, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 120GB HD (Sapphire Blue) (Electronics)
I bought the little machine to store and manage photographs (using PhotoShop album) when on holiday, so opted for the 120Gb XP version. Was immediately impressed by the small size, low weight and bright screen. Unsurprisingly, there is no CD/DVD drive, but XP contains the necessary drivers for external devices, so no problem (I use a Sony USB CD/DVD reader/writer). Software loads easily and runs surprisingly quickly. Not ideal for internet use because of the small screen size and lack of modem (but can use a USB modem for dial-up access), but otherwise, just great. PhotoShop Album works perfectly and files are readily exchangeable with bigger PCs.
PS - Since writing this review I've upgraded to Broadband (so the lack of an internal modem is now irrelevant). Absolutely no problems in doing this, works very well. (The screen's still small, though).
Overall, I just love it. Amazing!!
