TGU have been my favourite band since Dream Of 100 Nations came out. When I first heard this album I wasn't quite sure about it - there are some utter masterpieces on here, but it didn't sound quite like all my other TGU albums.
Then I went to see them live, and they played most of Yes Boss Food Corner as well as some older tracks. The whole album now makes perfect sense, and just because it relies more on ethnic instruments than a pounding bass beat doesn't make it a bad album. If you like world music with a western slant and emotion so deep you could swim in it, you'll love this. If you simply like maxing out the subwoofers in your Fiesta XR2, this is absolutely wasted on you.
Spiritual, emotional, magical and original... absolutely awesome...
