For those who don't understand glazes!,
This review is from: The Ceramic Spectrum: A Simplified Approach to Glaze and Color Development (Paperback)
What a fabulous book, I bought this mainly because I don't quite understand glazes such as what certain minerals do, why temperature is important and the amount of change that can happen from such a small measurement.
This book is wondeful, it has lots of good images, tables (which make those calculations that bit simplier), gives you the reasons behind all the different powders and minerals, the chemical symbols for the majority of the minerals used and plenty plenty more.
So, if you don't fully understand glazes, you want to be inspired to experiment and test and you want to learn but without all the technical terms and goo-ga then buy it, you won't look back.
