Her Worst Album,
This review is from: Love moves (1990) (Audio CD)
I'm a big fan of Ms Wilde, but I remember listening to this album when it cam out in 1990 & just couldn't get into it. Compared to all her previous releases it sounded bland to say the least. Having said that, there are some gems amongst the filler - Storm In Our Hearts, Can't Get Enough (Of Your Love) & the lovey final track, I Can't Say Goodbye. Compared to Close and the album which followed, Love Is, it sounds to me very sub standard.

NYC critic says:
"Time" and "It's Here" and "Can't Get Enough" are Wilde classics. Her worst album hands-down is "Now and Forever" -- I still haven't made it through every bar of every song...and I've had it for years! Would love to see an expanded, deluxe version of this released, similar to what's happened with her other albums.

I agree that Now & Forever was definitely a low point, maybe I should have entitled my review "One Of Her Most Disappointing Albums" as that's how I felt listening to it at the time, especially coming after one of her best IMO, Close. I contacted Cherry Red Records recently who did all the expanded, deluxe versions up until Close, to inquire if other albums were in the pipeline. They replied extremely promptly, but said they weren't able to get the rights for anymore of them and Universal may be doing them. I hope sooner rather than later!
