I can quite safely say that I've never read a book as dreadful as this one! It reads like a transcript to a computer game. The plot, such as it is, is thin and full of holes. The characters are grotesque two dimensional cartoons (not in a good way) and are also, often, full of holes owing to the incredible number of pointless gun fights and other ridiculous gratuitous acts of violence which are regularly and poorly described. The concept is derivative and badly executed (no pun intended) and the writing itself is astonishingly poor. I felt like going through it with a red biro. The howling grammatical errors should leave whoever proof-read it feeling thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
I understand that this book was self published initially and I can't say I'm surprised - no publisher worth their salt would touch it with a barge pole. Unfortunately it now seems to be developing a degree of cult appeal it certainly doesn't deserve. This book is not witty or ironic. It is not a parody of itself. It's just plain terrible.

Totally agree with this review. It feels to me as if this book was written by a quite talented fifteen year old. A future writer who maybe hasn't learnt the subtleties of his/her art yet. But it is very bad. It tries hard for the dark humour of Tarantino, and misses wildly. Just ending up with a string of unbelievably corny characters issuing unbelievably corny diologoue. Its prose is stilted and awkward, and too childish even to deserve the label of trash.
