Entertaining and thought provoking biographical novel,
By A Customer
This review is from: Common People (Paperback)
A rich rite of passage narrative centred around a group of boys growing up in South London in the 1960s and 1970s. The tales are authentic and the characters eminently believable which suggests to me that we are dealing with biographical fiction. As a novel it is unusual but as a look back over a certain era it is compelling reading.
