Great book with lots of new ideas included,
This review is from: Martha Stewart's Crafts for Kids: 175 kids craft projects for weekends, rainy days and parties (Paperback)
I really, really like this book. Beautiful photography throughout is matched by fantastic projects which span all skill levels; ranging from very simple crafts to more complicated designs. Step by step photos accompany many of the projects and help explain how things are put together. Chapters are titled: 1 - create a few characters, 2 - build a little world, 3 - make your own fun, 4 - design it yourself, 5 - experiment and explore, 6 - keep it together, 7 - give something handmade. Within these, activities include: candy monsters, travel tins, toy boats, painted umbrellas and a toy service station. It is definately a book that earns its place on your bookshelf. My little one was as taken with it as I was. Highly recommended.
