This review is from: In The Miso Soup (Paperback)
This is not a particularly good book, it's not clever, it doesn't make you think much, it's not convincing, and it feels like it was written by a 16 year old student.
When you're writing a book with shock value, then you need to be very good at it, otherwise it looks like you're just trying doing it for the sake of it. It's easy to write really shocking stuff, but you need to do it with style.
I'm giving it three stars because it was quite readable (it is very short). But it didn't do anything for me, I very quickly forgot about it once I finished it.
