5.0 out of 5 stars Works with PS4 and capture card (HDCP), 8 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 2 Way HDMI Switch Splitter Box 1x2 Port (1 Input x 2 Output) 1080p Full HD - Splits HDMI Signals to Two HD Displays: Blu-Ray Player Ps3 Xbox 360 Sky HD (Electronics)
I bought this to split the signal from my PS4 to my monitor and a capture card and it worked perfect. I have bought other similar splitter to this one from other sellers but the splitter's weren't able to bypass HDCP, this one does.

I have recorded games from the PS4 with 2 capture cards, a Avermedia game broadcaster HD and a Blackmagic Intensity pro.

Hi,
I bought this one and tried using it with both my PS3 and PS4 connecting up to my Avermedia Game Capture HD 2 and I can get it to record but there is no sound on either of them....not sure what I am doing wrong here, can you help please?

I was able to resolve this issue with the PS3 by using HDMI for image but red and white connections for sound....with the PS4 it has cost me more money because I have had to buy a optical cable, Digital Optical to Analog RCA Audio Converter and RCA Phono Cable 5 Metre / 5m - Male Plug to Plug cable. These have yet to arrive to test it with the PS4 to get sound with my capture device....I am hoping it fixes it.

So right now I can't tell if I have made some wrong connections (although I followed the instructions) or if I have a faulty product.

Thanks for any help.

It's takes one input from your PS3 and splits it into two outputs one to tv/monitor one to avermedia, so you can capture gameplay while it still plays on your screen
