one of the most amazing songs you'll hear all year,

Coldplay, have in the past two years come a very long way to world-wide stardom.
This along with 'Trouble' are Coldplay's finest songs, and 'The Scientist' certainly seems the pick of the bunch on the amazing 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' album.
Chilling piano plays solely at the start, leading into Chris Martin's warming but sad voice singing "Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry" which then leads into more heart-felt singing.
The lyrics are very touching, the music is beautiful and perfectly catches the emotion of the words.
In the song, it never really breaks out of the piano as it reflects how sad Martin's lyrics are, apart from near the end where a guitar creeps in to pick up the mood to more upbeat.
The song is about being in a relationship, and analyzing things too much about how it went wrong.
This song really is something special.
