Thank you, I made one soggy, caramel like cake I had to throw it out. It looked nothing like the picture and I simply do not believe it ever would.
There were too much honey, sugar and butter to make it anything but a caramel like cake.
I am sorry for both of us wasting out money on a bad cook book, but I am happy you wrote your experience, because that will save me the time of trying one more recipe, and waste even more almonds, butter, eggs and time.
It is such a bad experience to make a bad cake. I am not used to making bad cakes, I cannot remember doing a bad cake since forever.
Actually I am quite good at it, but this book just sucks.
