If you're looking for an uplifting, easy read with a lot of commonsense advice then this book could be for you. It's upbeat and doesn't take itself too seriously starting each chapter with a funny little anecdote that will make you smile. The author is a US author but the ideas translate fine for the British market. Basically, the author, having looked into this subject at considerable length , is passing on a multitude of workable tips. It's all commonsense but if you're looking for inspiration there will probably be something in here that speaks to you. Possibly, this will identify an area you may need to work on, be it relationship problems, anger problems or healthy lifestyle problems. Nothing is gone into in detail but most current useful techniques are mentioned.
There are no fancy mind melting techniques or elaborate life plans, just plain, sound advice for having a firm word with yourself. It's the sort of book you can dip into if you wish. It's a good place to start if you are in a quandary as to what to read to begin to improve your life.
