This review is from: Logitech T620 Touch Mouse - Graphite (Accessory)
To aid context let me add some background - I use an Apple Magic Mouse with my laptop and at work, and I *really* like how they operate. So there's my benchmark...
I'd been using a Microsoft Arc as my mouse for a while now but the wheel was starting to fail. Oddly I don't mind the ergonomics, which was something others have commented on while using my machine.
Loving my Magic Mouse so much I thought I would try and find something similar, hence my purchasing the Logitech. It is a nice looking mouse with a smooth surface which at first glance looks similar in design to the Apple device.
The functionality though is very different - whereas only a thin plastic layer moves on the Magic Mouse to register mouse clicks, the whole of the Logitech body moves. I don't know why that makes such a difference but it does - I quite often find my self clicking when I try to scroll, I find it difficult to click and drag, and have a problem with trying to push down with my finger when every other finger is holding the mouse still. It just doesn't work...
I dunno, maybe it's me that's broken, and that's fine, doesn't matter - I just know that it didn't feel right and it made computing a chore. I don't want to have to think that much about an input device. So, in what could be a step back, I just ordered a Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse.
If that doesn't work out then I may have to just use a Magic Mouse with my PC too... though that just seems wrong.
