This review is from: Last to Rise: Book 3 of the Rojan Dizon Novels (Kindle Edition)
The first book is a pleasant surprise, read the second and you begin to see a formula in all Rojan's interactions. By the third book, it's all getting very predictable, you know when it rains it will go down his neck, you are told this several times in each book. His interactions with all other characters, especially women, are almost templated.
It's still worth a read, but the repetitious characterisation was beginning to seriously niggle by the end.
