5.0 out of 5 stars Why Buy Originals?, 2 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: First Call Inks Ink Cartridge Replacing Epson Apple T1295 Multipack (Pack of 10: 4x Black, 2x Cyan, 2x Magenta, 2x Yellow) (Office Product)
My original black cartridge "ran out" suspiciously quickly and the printer wouldn't do a darned thing until a replacement was put in. I was surprised how quickly the original cartridge ran out and when I searched online, I saw that this was a major issue amongst Epson printer buyers. Not wanting to add to Epson's profits any further, I gave these a go.

The price is great (in comparison), there's four black cartridges, which is sensible as they tend to run out first and best of all, I don't feel ripped off.

I have just exchanged my SX235 W and purchased the SX445W. That was because I had a stock of original Fox inks and did not wish to throw them away, at the price they are. So my question has to be :" Are the compatibles as useful as the originals, and if they are, what happens to the Epson/Amazon warranty on using those? An early answer would be good.
Thanks.

All I know is that the compatibles seem to last longer than the originals with no problems. I've no idea about the warranty, but how would they know if you took the compatibles out before sending it back?

Thanks. I can accept this. And of course, thinking about it, should this printer ever foul up because of the ink, notwithstanding the warranties, those printers themselves are quite cheap and can be renewed. So, I will be sending for a pack of these compatibles next, especially the ones with the extra free black ink.
I am grateful for your input.
