If you want quick pictures this is not the camera for you,
This review is from: Kodak EasyShare C875 Digital Camera - Silver (8MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 2.5" LCD (Electronics)
I bought this camera over a year ago in Currys because of the optical zoom the price and the fact that I could use ordinary AA batteries. Initially the only problem I experienced with this camera was that it kept switching itself off. When I returned to Currys I was told that this camera needed a special type of battery i.e. Energizer Lithium digital camera batteries instead of ordinary AA batteries. This being the reason for the fact that it kept switching itself off, Currys would not refund me for the camera as they said it was not faulty. I ended up keeping the camera and trying the batteries recommended. They worked for a while but the batteries didn't really last very long once I used the movie feature on the camera. I eventually went on line and bought a Kodak rechargable battery specifically for this camera which has worked a treat. However another problem materialised. Getting decent photos out of this camera in various light conditions and moving shots has proved difficult it not impossible so I have given up and resorted to the use of a new camera.
I might add that this was a recommended camera in Which? magazine due to the features for the price tag. The only redeeming feature where I am concerned is the movie function which works a treat!
